Fourth Place Regional Competition
Isabel Wu( left), is working with Jack Vogel (8th grader). Isabel is a Sophomore at Hudson High school. She excels in Math and Science and was part of the 2015 MATHCOUNTS team at HMS. She enjoys mentoring younger math students.

Hannah Ma, one of the top 4 HMS students to compete at the UA MATHCOUNTS competition.
David Li, and John Main were all part of the team that went to UA for MATHCOUNTS. Terry Li is one of the high school mentors.
  • Provided 58 hours of math instruction to middle schoolers
  • Coached the Hudson middle school team MathCounts regional competition
  • Coached team who won 3rd place at MathCounts competition
  • One student placed 7th regionally and advanced to state competition
  • Brought together 7 area school students for “mock” math competitions
  • Registered for the national  Math Counts Club and carried out club activities
  • Gave 66 4th and 5th graders the opportunity to compete in a national math competition
  • Three 4th grade students recognized at international level for their high scores
